23 SMD LEDs for Automotive Signal Lighting
The CN360 2FT Series 7440 LED signal bulbs combine 4014 SMD and 3030 SMD LEDs in a compact aluminum body. Each bulb contains 23 LEDs, comprising 18 pieces of 4014 SMD and 5 pieces of 3030 SMD. Available in white, yellow, and red, the range covers turn signal, reverse, and rear fog light applications where the vehicle uses a compatible 7440 socket and the selected color matches the lamp function.
The LED arrangement places light sources around the bulb body and at the front of the assembly. This layout provides light from multiple positions within the lamp housing. The combination of two SMD types is a defining feature of the 2FT design, bringing the 4014 and 3030 LEDs together in one bulb rather than using a single LED type throughout.
Protective Front Lampshade
A front lampshade covers the forward-facing LED area, providing a protective cover over the light sources at the tip of the bulb. Together with the surrounding LED arrangement, it forms the light-emitting section of the 2FT assembly. The lampshade is integrated into the bulb head, keeping the front lighting components within the overall shape of the unit.
The appearance of the illuminated lamp will also depend on the vehicle's reflector, lens, and housing. Selecting the correct light color and checking the bulb inside the intended lamp assembly are therefore part of matching the 2FT bulb to its application.
Aluminum Body with Ventilation Openings
The 2FT Series uses an aluminum body with openings in the housing to support heat dissipation. The metal structure and ventilation openings work together as part of the bulb's cooling design. These features are built into the body surrounding the lighting assembly, keeping the cooling structure within the bulb itself.
The openings are a visible part of the 2FT construction. When checking fitment, allow space around the bulb body and confirm that the bulb can sit correctly inside the lamp housing with its cover fitted.
7440 Base and Electrical Contacts
This version of the 2FT Series is equipped with a 7440 base. The electrical contacts are incorporated into the base for connection to a matching bulb holder. The socket designation identifies the connection format, while the required lighting function depends on the vehicle and the position in which the bulb is installed.
The operating voltage is DC 9–18V, with a specified input current of 540 ± 40 mA at 12V. Check the original bulb specification, socket arrangement, and available housing space before selecting a replacement. These electrical specifications apply to this 7440 version of the 2FT Series.
White, Yellow, and Red Light Options
The white version has a specified luminous flux of 585 lm, the yellow version 350 lm, and the red version 93 lm. Each value belongs to its corresponding color, allowing the three options to be compared without treating their light output as identical. All three options use the same specified combination of 18 pieces of 4014 SMD and 5 pieces of 3030 SMD.
Choose the light color to match the intended lamp function and vehicle requirements. The listed applications include turn signals, reverse lights, and rear fog lights, subject to the appropriate color and compatible fitment. A shared 7440 socket does not make every color suitable for every lamp position, so the original lamp's function remains the starting point for selection.
