360° Lighting with 16 SMD LEDs
The CN360 BRS Series 7443 LED signal bulbs combine a 360° beam angle with two SMD LED types. Each bulb contains eight 2835 SMD LEDs and eight 4218 SMD LEDs, giving a total of 16 light sources. The LEDs are arranged around the lighting head to send light in multiple directions within the vehicle's lamp housing.
This arrangement supports surrounding illumination from a compact bulb assembly. The reflector and lens remain important parts of the complete lighting system, influencing how the light appears outside the vehicle. Matching the bulb to the original lamp position helps ensure that the socket, available space, and selected light color suit the application.

Protective Cover with Airflow Openings
The BRS lighting head incorporates a protective cover around the LED assembly. This cover helps shield the light sources from direct contact while allowing light to pass into the lamp housing. Openings in the cover promote air circulation as part of the bulb's heat dissipation design.
The covered head and compact body form a single assembly above the 7443 base. When checking physical fitment, consider the space around the entire bulb and the clearance required to refit the lamp cover. The original bulb holder and surrounding housing should both accommodate the replacement.

Non-Polar Operation with a 7443 Base
The BRS 7443 features a non-polar electrical design, so the bulb does not require a specific positive and negative polarity orientation at its connection. The 7443 base must still match the vehicle's socket and contact arrangement. Confirming the original bulb designation is the starting point for selecting the appropriate replacement.

The operating voltage range is DC 11–18V. Each color option supports high and low brightness modes for compatible lamp circuits. The function assigned to each mode depends on the vehicle's wiring and the lighting position, so both modes should be checked after fitting.

Separate Current Ratings for Each Brightness Mode
The white version is specified at 0.50 ± 0.06 A in high mode and 0.09 ± 0.01 A in low mode, measured at 13.5V. The yellow and red versions each draw 0.40 ± 0.04 A in high mode and 0.10 ± 0.01 A in low mode at the same test voltage.
These ratings distinguish the two operating levels and preserve the electrical differences between the color options. When choosing a bulb, use the current specification for the selected color and mode alongside the operating voltage range. The vehicle's lamp circuit must support the intended high and low brightness operation.

White, Yellow, and Red Light Choices
The white bulb has a listed luminous flux of 700 lm, the yellow bulb 440 lm, and the red bulb 130 lm. All three share the 16-LED configuration, 360° beam angle, and non-polar design. The output rating is specific to the chosen color, allowing each option to be considered according to its own specification.
Applications across the BRS 7443 range include tail lights, brake lights, back-up lights, and rear fog lights, depending on color and vehicle fitment. Choose the light color to match the original lamp function and lens. Each color is intended for appropriate lighting positions rather than every application in the range. Checking the socket, lamp function, electrical operation, and housing clearance together provides a clear basis for selecting the suitable bulb.
