White LED Lighting in a 31mm Festoon Format
The CN360 K6 Series 31mm CANbus LED festoon bulb provides white illumination for compatible reading lights, license plate lights, trunk lights, and vanity mirror lights. Its 31 mm length identifies the festoon size required by the lamp holder. Metal contacts at both ends connect the bulb to a matching assembly, while the LED face directs light toward the area being illuminated.
The bulb has a listed output of 210 lm, a rated power of 2 W, and a 180° beam angle. This combination suits compact lighting positions where the lamp lens and surrounding housing help distribute the light. The finished lighting result depends on the complete assembly, including its reflector, cover, and mounting position.
Six 3020 SMD LEDs
Six 3020 SMD LEDs are arranged across the front of the lighting board. The compact array places several light sources within the short festoon body, producing white light from a defined emitting surface. The arrangement is designed to illuminate the area facing the LED board when the bulb is correctly positioned.
For a reading lamp or vanity mirror lamp, the emitting face should point toward the lamp lens. In a license plate or trunk lamp, the same principle helps direct the available light toward the intended surface. The 180° beam angle describes the bulb's light distribution; the housing further shapes that light after installation.

Finned Heat Sink
A finned heat sink sits behind the LED board as part of the bulb's thermal design. The fins increase the surface available for heat dissipation while keeping the cooling structure within the compact assembly. This arrangement combines the light sources and cooling surface in a single festoon bulb.
Check the depth of the lamp housing as well as the distance between its contacts. The rear heat sink needs sufficient clearance for the bulb to sit correctly and for the original cover to close. Matching the 31 mm length is the first step, followed by confirming space around the complete bulb.

Constant Current IC and CANbus Design
A built-in constant current IC helps regulate the electrical supply to the LEDs during operation. This 31 mm version has a specified input current of 170 ± 10 mA and an operating voltage range of DC 9–16V. These values describe the electrical requirements of this particular size.
The bulb also incorporates a CANbus-oriented design for use with compatible vehicle lighting circuits. Bulb monitoring systems differ between vehicles, so compatibility should be checked for the intended lamp position. After fitting, confirm normal operation through the vehicle's controls and check for any lamp warning or unexpected lighting behavior.

Non-Polar Connection for Compatible Lamp Holders
The non-polar connection removes the need to identify a positive and negative end when fitting the bulb electrically. The direction of the LED face still matters for light delivery, so position it toward the lens or illuminated area. The two end contacts should sit securely in the holder without forcing the assembly.

Choose this version when the original lamp requires a 31 mm festoon bulb. Suitable applications include reading, license plate, trunk, and vanity mirror lighting where the socket, operating voltage, and available space match. Checking these details together provides a practical basis for selecting the appropriate K6 bulb and using its white light effectively.
