M8S LED Headlight Bulb

M8S Series H4 Dual Fan Cooled LED Headlight Bulbs

The M8S Series H4 LED Headlight Bulbs are designed for compatible H4 headlamp applications that require separate high- and low-beam operation in one LED bulb. The H4 configuration uses eight customized 7035 LED chips, a fixed H4 mounting collar, and a no-polarity connection design. It operates on DC 9-18V and is specified with 6500K white light for a crisp, modern lighting appearance.

High and low beam output are listed separately to give a clear view of real operating data. High beam is specified at 3,289 lm / 38.27 W initially and 2,649 lm / 32.61 W after stabilization. Low beam is specified at 2,734 lm / 38.97 W initially and 2,209 lm / 34.81 W after stabilization. Input current is 3.1 ± 0.4 A at 13.5V.

Dual-Fan Heat Dissipation System

The M8S cooling structure uses a fan at the top of the lamp body and a second fan at the lower section. This top-and-bottom airflow arrangement is designed to move air through the lamp structure from more than one direction, helping heat leave the LED and rear housing areas during operation.

Powerful Thermal

Dual copper heat pipes form the main heat-transfer path inside the body. They move heat away from the LED source and distribute it through the lamp structure, rather than leaving thermal load concentrated around the emitting surfaces. This provides a more complete thermal route for the high- and low-beam functions of the H4 bulb.

Aluminum Housing

An ADC12 aluminum body supports passive heat release around the heat-pipe and fan system. Together, the dual fans, dual copper heat pipes, and aluminum housing create a compact cooling architecture intended to support stable operation during extended use without relying on an oversized external heat sink.

Liquid Heat Pipe System

H4 High and Low Beam Output

The M8S-H4 keeps high and low beam data distinct. In high beam mode, the initial output is 3,289 lm at 38.27 W, followed by a stable output of 2,649 lm at 32.61 W. In low beam mode, the initial output is 2,734 lm at 38.97 W, followed by a stable output of 2,209 lm at 34.81 W.

Showing both initial and stable values makes the performance data easier to understand after the lamp has reached normal operating conditions. The specified 3.1 ± 0.4 A input current at 13.5V and DC 9-18V operating range should be considered together with the vehicle's electrical condition and the available space behind the original H4 headlamp.

High Lumen Output

Customized 7035 LEDs and 6500K White Light

The H4 version uses eight customized 7035 LED chips arranged for its dedicated high- and low-beam configuration. The 360° light-emitting angle describes the LED source layout around the bulb, while the fixed H4 mounting position helps maintain a consistent relationship between the light source and the original headlamp optics.

The product is specified as 6500K white light. This cool-white appearance gives the lamp a clean LED character while retaining separate high- and low-beam operating modes. The final on-road result will always depend on the vehicle's original reflector or projector design and correct headlamp adjustment.

Automotive-Grade LED Chip

Compact H4-Style Mounting Geometry

The M8S-H4 has a fixed H4 mounting collar rather than an adjustable collar. Its integrated body is designed around H4-style bulb geometry, with an overall height of approximately 80.3 mm and an upper housing diameter of approximately 22.5 mm. This compact form helps installers assess available clearance before fitting the bulb.

The design intent is to place the LED illumination area close to the original H4 bulb position while keeping the lamp body self-contained. Before installation, confirm the original socket type, dust-cover clearance, connector position, and available internal headlamp space for the specific vehicle.

Easy Installation

Optical Alignment for Compatible H4 Housings

Correct optical alignment is especially important for H4 applications because both high and low beam functions are integrated into one bulb. The fixed collar and compact LED layout are intended to support appropriate source positioning in compatible H4 housings. After installation, check the beam aim against the vehicle manufacturer's headlamp adjustment requirements.

Headlamp optics vary between vehicles, so the final pattern should be evaluated in the installed housing rather than assumed from the bulb alone. Correct mounting, secure electrical connection, and proper aiming help achieve the most useful result from the high- and low-beam configuration.

Certification Documentation

The M8S series presentation includes CE and RoHS Certificates of Conformity. Documentation requirements can vary by destination market and applicable product configuration.

The M8S-H4 combines a compact H4 format, dual-fan cooling, dual copper heat pipes, ADC12 aluminum construction, customized 7035 LEDs, and clearly separated high- and low-beam output data for compatible H4 headlamp applications.
