23 SMD LEDs for Automotive Signal Lighting
The CN360 2FT Series 1156 LED signal bulbs combine 18 pieces of 4014 SMD and 5 pieces of 3030 SMD, giving each bulb a total of 23 LEDs. Light sources are arranged around the bulb body and at the front of the assembly, providing illumination from multiple positions within the vehicle's lamp housing.
The range offers two locating-pin configurations, 150° and 180°, with white, yellow, and red light available for each configuration. This gives a choice of six combinations to suit different socket arrangements and lighting requirements. Each combination retains the same specified LED count and electrical operating range.
Protective Front Lampshade
A protective lampshade covers the forward-facing LED area at the tip of the bulb. It forms part of the lighting head and provides a cover over the front light sources. Together with the LEDs positioned around the body, this creates the distinctive lighting assembly of the 2FT Series.
The front cover and surrounding LED surfaces sit within the vehicle's existing lamp housing. The reflector and lens also influence how the illuminated lamp appears, so the selected bulb should be matched to the intended lamp position, housing space, and required light color.
Aluminum Body with Ventilation Openings
The aluminum body incorporates ventilation openings to support heat dissipation. The metal structure provides a path for heat to move away from the LED assembly, while the openings form part of the body's cooling design. These features are integrated into the bulb below the lighting head.
The housing brings the lighting assembly and base together in one compact structure. When checking physical fitment, consider the space around the complete bulb as well as the clearance needed for the lamp cover. The bulb body should fit comfortably within the intended housing once the base is seated.
150° and 180° Locating-Pin Options
The two base options differ in the angular spacing of the locating pins on the sides of the metal base. The 150° version has pins spaced at 150°, while the 180° version has pins positioned opposite each other. These angles describe the mechanical connection to the bulb holder and help identify the required base configuration.
Match the locating-pin arrangement to the original bulb and socket before choosing a replacement. The color choice is separate from the pin configuration: white, yellow, and red are available with either pin angle. Both configurations operate at DC 9–18V and have a specified input current of 540 ± 40 mA at 12V.
White, Yellow, and Red Output Options
The white version is rated at 625 lm, the yellow version at 365 lm, and the red version at 82 lm. These color-specific output ratings apply to both the 150° and 180° configurations. Selecting a different pin angle changes the base arrangement while retaining the listed output for the chosen color.
The 150° range lists back-up and rear fog light applications. The 180° range lists turn signal, back-up, and rear fog light applications. Suitability depends on the selected color, the original lamp function, and vehicle fitment. Each color should be matched to its intended lighting position; the application list does not mean every color is suitable for every function. Checking the pin arrangement, lamp function, and available space together provides a clear basis for selecting the appropriate 2FT bulb.
